General Description
These windows and doors have long been the standard for
European fenestration design. Their extra thick sash and frames
offer a distinctive architectural feature for both contemporary
and traditional buildings. These windows and doors are one of
the most weather-tight products available. With their gasketed
frame and sash weather seals, and multiple point locking
hardware, they truly seal as tightly as possible. Another feature
of the hardware system is the ability to either open the window
as you would an inswinging casement allowing full ventilation,
or to tilt the top in like a hopper to allow a passive ventilation.
These windows and doors are available as single or “French”
pairs. As with all LHW products, all components are milled
within a .04” tolerance and assembled with Type 1 submersible

Hardware:
We have access to all major hardware manufacturers products.
We prefer to work with those that offer a stainless steel
hardware package.
We will work with our customers to achieve the hardware trim
detail that they desire. We have access to all suppliers of
handles, escutcheons or rosettes. If we are unable to find what
you want from the standard sources, we also work closely with
a foundry in Maine that will custom manufacture any trim
pieces that are not readily available. We can also have
hardware custom plated to match other finishes.
